Introducing WemoFleet

Q: What is WemoFleet?

A: WemoFleet is the rebranded version of OmniFleet.

Q: What happens to my old OmniFleet account?

A: It will be ported over to WemoFleet after you acknowledge (insert google form link) the receipt of this announcement.

Q: What will happen to OmniFleet?

A: OmniFleet will run for another 12 months but there will be no new feature updates effective 31 August 2021.

Q: What are the new plan charges and when do they become effective?

The revised charges for WemoFleet came into effect on 31 August 2021 at 12 am MY time. Here's the new pricing in MYR:

Q: How is WemoFleet different from OmniFleet?

Q: Does WemoFleet have a mobile app such as OmniFleet?

For now, we are only working on an Android mobile app. Our website is mobile-friendly so you may still use it.

Q: My subscription renews after 31 August 2021. Will I be charged based on the new plan on renewal?

A: No. Irrespective of when your subscription renews, we’ll continue to charge you at the price at which you subscribed to OmniFleet (now WemoFleet) before 31 August 2021.

Q: I would like to upgrade to a higher plan, but my subscription renews after 31 August 2021. Should I upgrade now, or at the time of renewal?

A: Even though your subscription renews after  31 August 2021, if you plan to upgrade, it would be best to do it before 31 August 2021, as we’ll bill you based on the current pricing plan.

If you upgrade after 31 August 2021, you’ll be charged for the new pricing. 

Q: What happens if I downgrade to a lower plan?

A: In case you downgrade your plan, i.e., move to a lower plan or decreases the number of active units, the customer will be charged on the new pricing (effective 31 August 2021).

Q: I would like to purchase more units/subscriptions. Will I be charged as per the old pricing or the new pricing?

A: No. If you have subscribed before 31 August 2021, the pricing change won't impact you when you want to purchase more employee licenses at any time.

Q: I would like to change the frequency of my billing cycle from annual to monthly. Will the monthly charges be based on the new pricing or the current pricing?

A: If you are an existing customer who has subscribed to OmniFleet (now WemoFleet) before 31 August 2021, the variation in your pricing will be based on the annual/monthly charges in the old plan, irrespective of when you do it. 

If you subscribe to WemoFleet after 31 August 2021, the annual/monthly variation will be based on the new pricing. 

Q: I have already scheduled a downgrade for my account, am I affected here?

A: If you have already scheduled a downgrade, you will be billed based on the current plan only. 

Q: I don't know how to use WemoFleet

A: Resources will be provided to ease the rebranding of OmniFleet. Demos and our extensive knowledge base will be made available to you. Please book your demo here or with your servicing manager.

Q: What if I don't want to use WemoFleet?

A: You will have access to OmniFleet until your subscription ends or 31st October 2021 (whichever comes first), after which it will no longer be available.
